What Is the West Side Safe Neighborhood Council?

The West Side Safe Neighborhood Council (WSSNC)is a grassroots organization working to promote neighborhood safety and reduce violence on the West Side.

The West Side Safe Neighborhood Council was established in 1984 to assist and support the development of local Block Clubs with the common goal of building and maintaining a safe community for everyone. 

Our Mission

The WSSNC strives to facilitate an atmosphere in which the residents of the West Side of St. Paul and the St. Paul Police Department can develop and maintain a relationship of trust and cooperation in order to reduce crime and violence on the West Side.

Additionally, the WSSNC collaborates with other civic and charitable organizations and local and state agencies to support the general welfare of the community through educational opportunities for the purposes of reducing crime and violence on the West Side.
